This course will be delivered by Group Training
Amplio Training *Life Threatening Bleeding - Previously Known As Catastrophic Bleeding course.This course provides learners with guidance on life threatening bleeding control, including dealing with the inherent dangers associated with the use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings whilst administering First Aid in a high-risk working environment.

Training may be necessary in sectors such as agriculture, forestry and construction, and working locations in remote areas. Employers of people working in hospitality, events, or other relevant sectors should consider additional training to prepare for injuries to colleagues or the public resulting from terrorist acts or other violent incidents.

Assessment & Certification

All learners must hold an in date Level 3 Emergency First Aid or Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification.
Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual ongoing throughout the course and issue a certificate of attendance. There is no expiry date on the certificate as it is attendance only, however, we recommend that you attend this course every 3 years to refresh your skills.
